Speaking of needing me, Zoe has never been so NEEDY! She always has to be either touching me or be able to see me. She even has a hard time with Ty sometimes. I love that she loves me, but I'm assuming it's a phase that she will continue to repeat over and over. She's also teething & I'm sure she doesn't like that. Anyone else out there know what I'm talking about? Have your kids gone through this. I'm just trying to figure out what to do & how to stay sane at the same time. Ty has been extremely helpful, but he works all the time so I'm left to entertain my little one most the time.
I have been trying not to gain as much weight as I did with Zoe. I think that will be easy seeing that I gained 70 lbs with her. Yes, 70 lbs! I look back at pictures and think oh my!!! What was I thinking??? I was so happy to even be pregnant I didn't have a care in the world. I just ate and ate & didn't worry one bit. This time around is a lot different. It was so hard to lose weight after I had Zoe & I don't want it to be as hard this time. Thank goodness I lost 50 lbs before getting pregnant. I'm 16 weeks and I've only gained 8 lbs. Hopefully the rest that I gain will just be the baby and fluid. The joys of getting pregnant when your baby is 3 month old. AAAAHHHH! Sometimes I just want to scream, but this is why I'm here, to make babies & bring them back to their Heavenly Father. We are blessed! I really shouldn't even be able to have babies (say most doctors). But, miracles happen! We have 2 babies that prove this to be true.

Hey Janessa,
Blair has been really busy with work lately too, so I can empathize with you on that. Being a mom is awesome, but kinda exhausting too (I'm sure it's doubley exhausting being pregnant). I thought you looked great when I saw you at the merc.
As for the blog stuff, your blog looks really cute so maybe you already figured it out. But just in case you're still wondering...I just sign in to my dashboard and click on design. I use the template designer to change the layout of the menus and stuff! Hope that helps.
Good luck with everything!
YES! Definitely! Clara had her times of extreme "needyness" :P with me and only with me!
She's still pretty much a momma's girl but those times were hard... and I wasn't pregnant! I can only imagine. Hope everything goes well! :)
PS: SO true about the baby weight thing! With Clara I was just absolutely unconscious and thought "this is what's supposed to happen--I'm supposed to eat like a pig and gain weight" well, I was sorely uninformed. Hahaha! Not even my doctors were very specific about how much weight I was supposed to gain! All in all (with fluids and all) I gained 40lbs, of which I lost 20, but I never lost the other twenty... but I know better for my second and following pregnancies! I will be more careful. Ugh.
Hey Janessa - I haven't stopped by for a while but I wanted to say Congratulations! You make darling children :)
Hey there...I can definitely relate to the "needy" thing, and for me it's just a matter of taking it day by day. Sometimes it's overwhelming, especially when you're pregnant and exhausted...I find myself losing my temper so easily these days. I just have to try to schedule time for myself - whether that means getting a babysitter or just taking advantage of nap time - I literally have to give myself some attention or else I go crazy. Most of the time that just means I'm getting some time to take a nap, but I love sleep so that's what I choose to do when I have the time. Anyway, I don't know that anyone has a magic solution, but I think there's some logic in trying to find a balance. Anyway, this doesn't make much sense, but I hope you know you're loved!
PS - Can't wait to find out what you're having! I hope you are going to get a little boy, too! I can't believe you're already far enough along to find out. Is it just me, or does the second one go by so much faster?? Love ya!
