Well, Zoe is 3 1/2 weeks old. As soon as she came out of my belly she has been a good eater. At her two week check-up she weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 19.5 in long. She is doing so well for being early.
I have lost 37 lbs as of Monday! I can't believe it. For those of you who weren't able to see me at the end, I was huge!! I was retaining so much water. I can't believe it's possible to swell as much as I did. I am healing up pretty quickly, but I still have limitations. I'm not supposed to do any heavy lifting or vacuuming for another 2 or 3 weeks. DARN IT! haha... Ty has been amazing helping around the house, especially while I've been healing up. He loves being a daddy and can't believe we have such a beautiful daughter. I love and appreciate all the support and help he gives me with her!
Zoe definitely has & will continue to change our lives. I think the hardest thing is when she cries and I can't comfort her. I know it's healthy for them to cry every so often because that's how they get their exercise, but it's still very hard. She sleeps 3 - 4 hours at a time and only really fusses when she's starving or poopy. We are getting this whole parenting thing down. I think!
